HEIRLOOM GRITS
Delicious creamy grits made with Bayou Cora corn. Perfect to eat on their own or as a part of dishes like shrimp & grits or grits & grillades.
Method: Bring water to simmer on medium high heat. Still in grits with a wooden spoon.
Reduce heat to medium and cook for 25-30 minutes or until desired doneness. Stir often to prevent from sticking, do not boil. Reduce heat if needed.
Once fully cooked remove from heat and stir in salt and cold butter.
